Shipping is added to the price of all items (unless otherwise noted). Items marked for free shipping will be sent by the most cost effective method. If you mark "Air" on your order be sure to call us to confirm that you really want to pay air freight charges on your 100+ pound order (it will be expensive). Fed-Ex and air freight shipping on Brent and Pacifica pottery wheels, Giffin Grips and many other items is available, at additional cost. Write for details. Please include your phone number and e-mail address so that we may contact you with the shipping cost on larger items. Giffin Grips are shipped via ground at a flat rate of $14.00 to anywhere in the continental U.S.A., if requested at time of order. Otherwise, they are shipped via air for $25. Some of our big competetors charge credit card surcharges and jack up the price on shipping so that they can quote you a "Low-Ball" price. These practices are designed to fool you. In the end you pay more. Always watch for the little charges that add "nickles and dimes" to your bill. P.S. Credit Card surcharges are prohibited by Visa and MasterCharge. There are no phoney credit card surcharges here at Nevada Dan's. Don't be fooled by the competition! All items possible are shipped directly from the factory. All pottery wheels (except the Brent IE model) come with splash pans. Shipping address must match credit card billing address on charged items. Orders shipped to other addresses require payment by cashier's check or money order. We do not ship out of the USA. Nevada residents must pay sales tax on all items. Pacifica pottery wheels shipped to California, Florida and Ohio addresses must pay sales tax. Indiana residents must pay tax on Brent pottery wheels. Brent pottery wheels are only shipped via truck freight. All items shipped out-of-state from Nevada Dan's Reno store are tax exempt. Dan only sells quality products! In shopping, be suspicious of those who sell certain (cheap) brands. From our personal experience these products do not hold up. It is a shame that most of the other dealers choose to sell them. They know, like we know, that they will sit in a corner (gathering dust) after just a little use. Don't be penny wise..... We only sell quality goods at Nevada Dan's. Puggers require a 50% deposit by cashier's check to be ordered. The balance must be paid prior to expected shipment. Peter puggers are not returnable. Kilns are made to order and require full payment at the time of order. Kilns generally take two to three weeks to be built and shipped. Be sure to check with you power company on your voltage and "phase" prior to ordering. Kilns are not returnable. All returned items are subject to freight charges and a 15% "retail" re-stock fee. Used items are not returnable. All items that Nevada Dan sells that weighs over one-hundred pounds will be shipped by common carrier (truck). Vacations: We do take working vacations after Christmas, Easter and late June/early July. Also, we lost a home due to hurricane Rita; this will necessatate additional trips. Orders are processed, emails and phone calls are still answered, if possible. Most items can still be shipped during these times.
